Important information about delivery charges for Scotland:We have been absorbing the extra cost that our couriers charge us for certain Scottish postcodes. We can no longer do this, so heavier parcels will be charged a surcharge on top of the rates shown below.
The postcodes are: IV, HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, ZE. If you live in these postcode areas we will contact you with the surcharge cost which you are free to except of decline. This only applies to heavier orders that have to go via our courier Parcelforce.
Costs for delivery are:

Orders from 1kg - 8kg UK Inland £4.95 / Northern Ireland £11.95 / Scottish Highlands & Islands £8.95
Orders from 9kg -18kg UK Inland £7.95 / Northern Ireland £22.95 / Scottish Highlands & Islands £16.95
Orders over 19kg - 30kg UK Inland £16.95 / Northern Ireland £32.95 / Scottish Highlands & Islands £26.95
Orders weighing over 30kg - We will contact you with a quote which you are free to except or decline.
Deliveries will be made on normal working days, Monday to Friday, and will usually occur between 8.00am and 6.00pm. Saturday deliveries cannot be guaranteed and will incur a surcharge. Please contact us for details.
Whenever possible, goods will be despatched by first class post or 24 hour courier within 7 working days. With the exception of standard first class post, all deliveries require a signature.
If there is nobody in to accept the delivery a card will be left to inform the customer how to collect the parcel or arrange re-delivery. It is then the customer's responsibility to contact the courier and arrange a suitable delivery date. We accept no liability if the delivery is not made due to the customer not being available. If the customer fails to contact the courier in good time the goods will be returned to us and a charge will be made for re-delivery to that or an alternative address. At your specific instruction we can ask the courier to leave the goods in a secure place at the delivery address or with a neighbour, however, we cannot be held responsible if the goods are mislaid.
If you are unavailable during normal hours we recommend sending your order to a work address if possible. In the event that you select a business address we shall be deemed to have delivered the goods to the intended customer by delivering it to the reception area of the business address and receiving from a duly authorised representative a signed receipt of delivery.
We will deliver to the address as you enter it and can not accept any liability for late or failed delivery if the quoted address is incorrect. Additional charges will be made for redirection or for re-delivery due to postcode error. We advise that if you are not sure of the address you should check it using the Post Office postcode and address finding service.
We cannot be held responsible for third party couriers or the postal service delivering late. Regretfully we have no control over this and any requests for a delivery cost refund will be at Pet Beds & Basket's discretion and as a good will gesture.
